Molly Galke
Student
Hi! I’m Molly. I'm a fourth-year Communications and Media student at Pace University with a minor in Photography.
I’m a naturally optimistic and curious person with a strong passion for storytelling in all forms. I have hands-on experience producing, filming, and editing both personal and professional video projects. My favorite part is the editing process where I can bring stories to life in post-production.
My interest in storytelling also extends to writing; I’ve taken several writing courses, including a journalism class where I conducted interviews and created original pieces. Written and documentary journalism are particular passions of mine — I love learning new things, meeting new people, and sharing their stories through my own perspective.
Beyond film and journalism, I’ve explored photography in many forms including digital, film, and alternative processes. My photography journey has helped me grow more confident, both creatively and technically, behind the camera and in the editing room. Currently, I serve as the Assistant Photo Editor for The Pace Press and Treasurer of the university’s Photography Club.
I’m excited to continue growing as a storyteller and am currently open to opportunities within the communications field, including but not limited to film, editing, journalism, and creative production.
