Janey Hynes

My name is Janey Hynes (they/she), and I am from Chicago, Illinois.

I will graduate in June from DePaul University with a bachelor’s degree in English, concentrating in Creative Writing. Throughout my college career, I have been deeply involved in writing and literature. I had the honor of having two of my poems, "Heirloom" and "I Threw Myself a Surprise Party," featured in the 44th edition of "Crook and Folly," a literary and arts magazine published by DePaul University. Additionally, I served as a fiction section reader for this edition and, in my final year, became co-editor-in-chief of "Crook and Folly."
