Dr. Jaime E. Fuentes, with over 27 years of experience as a college professor, specializes in teaching a wide range of technology subjects. He has held professional roles in corporate and private IT departments, providing him with practical expertise that enhances his classroom instruction. His career as a mentor, advisor, and faculty member has equipped him with strong communication skills and a deep understanding of professional development in technology. Dr. Fuentes is also committed to community development, mainly through his work with the Hispanic Economic Development Corporation (HEDC) and the Latino Math and Science Academy (LMASA), where he supports Latino students at risk of dropping out by encouraging higher education. He has collaborated with organizations like the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) to foster educational initiatives for low-income students. Since 1999, Dr. Fuentes has been actively involved in Wyandotte Community Service, earning numerous awards for his contributions. As a consultant and recipient of educational grants, he continues to innovate in educational technology, shaping the future for underserved communities and future generations.
