Strategic Communications Leader | Cross-Functional Collaborator | Mission-Driven Manager

I’m a communications professional with over a decade of experience leading strategic initiatives that connect audiences, shape perception, and drive results. My career spans public service, higher education, and nonprofit sectors—each requiring a strong grasp of messaging strategy, stakeholder engagement, and the agility to adapt communications to diverse audiences.

Currently, I serve as a Communications Specialist for Search.gov, a federal digital service where I manage cross-channel communications, stakeholder updates, and internal reporting. While the specifics of my work are confidential under public trust clearance, I help lead strategy and execution across internal and external channels, improving operational transparency and user support in a high-security environment.

Previously, I managed all communications efforts for Enrollment Management at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, coordinating campaigns across 11 departments to support the university’s largest freshman class in five years. My work unified digital, print, and social media strategies under one cohesive vision aligned with institutional goals.

From building stakeholder engagement plans at Junior Achievement to leading brand messaging and SEO strategy for private sector clients, I bring a manager’s mindset to every role—connecting teams, aligning efforts, and ensuring communications serve both the mission and the metrics.

I thrive at the intersection of strategy and execution, with strengths in analytics, UX-informed planning, and team collaboration. Whether leading crisis communications, developing retention frameworks, or launching cross-functional campaigns, I focus on what matters most: clarity, impact, and connection.
