dunbeg butterflies
June 26, 2025
I discovered a forested clearing right near the beach, kind of tucked into the South of Dunbeg. I was 2 Guinesses deep and on the way back from the main beach, where I'd illustrated E's thank-you card. I was tipsy and without my glasses so the greens of the trees seemed glittery and moved like a swarm of butterflies, the light shifting through their transparent wings. lots of fluffy-moss-covered stones and one particularly large boulder which I scaled, and consequently felt like a powerful child-king. then I scampered down and left A a voice note.
