Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Brooklyn A Complete Review

Working as Development Manager for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Brooklyn, in 2025 I achieved the following goals:
1. Met and surpassed our $450,000 goal - ending the year with $540,000. Making MSABC Brooklyn a premier event and being in the top 20 of the NER and the US as a whole.
2. Welcomed over 12,500 walkers to Coney Island, including over 500 breast cancer survivors, and over 19 sponsors.
3. Secured a presenting sponsor in over 4 years, with a commitment of $25,000.
4. Met and surpassed our sponsorship goal $50,000 - ending the year with $79,000.
5. Managed our text marketing system across the 4 boroughs (BK, BX, QNS, SI) and sent over 120,000 messages to past and current participants in order to reengage, provide fundraising coaching and more. We achieved a response rate of 45% through targeted messages.
