Content Creator Marketing
Throughout my time with Making Strides, I have implemented the use and collaboration with localized content creators to raise brand awareness.
Before my arrival we did not use content creators, however we have found major success with their reach. Without a true localized marketing budget, I got creative with ways to promote our events. Below are some examples:
Jakie Cho x Kora x MSABC QNS
Kora is known for creating unique and delicious desserts. We collaborated with Kora and Jaeki Cho promote Pink Ribbon Kora Crullers. For each box sold, Kora will donate a percentage of back and they donated 200 free donuts for participants.
Jaeki Cho created a series of videos promoting the cause and created a fundraising team, so people can walk with him.
The Results:
- 250k impressions across 4 videos
- $2,00 raised through his fundraiser on our website.
Paulie Mars x DyeBones x The Boiis Co. x MSABC BK
The Boiis Co. is known for creating unique and delicious mochi treats. We collaborated with TBC, Dyebones and Paulie Mars to shoot content for our “Boiis For Boobies” campaign in which 50% of the proceeds of each box goes back as a donation, with an additional mochi treat going back to a survivor per box sold.
The Results:
- 80k impressions on social media between both accounts.
- 50 cookies given out to breast cancer survivors on walk day.

Amigas Latinas x Rowan x MSABC BK
We worked with Amigas Latinas, a social media group that hosts events for Latinas in NYC and beyond, and Rowan, an ear-piercing company, to host Piercing with a Purpose. At the event amigas were encouraged to come and get pierced with part of the proceeds going back to ACS as a form of donation.
The Results:
- Raised over $500 dollars from the 3 hour event.
- Introduced MSABC to a younger audience and recruited volunteers to help on walk day.
