Building Niche SaaS Faster with Herkobi SaaS Boilerplate

One thing I’ve learned over time is that coming up with ideas is easy — executing them is where most people get stuck. Especially if you’re building alone, things like infrastructure, auth systems, billing, and permission logic can feel like a never-ending loop.

To break out of that loop, I built myself a strong starting point: Herkobi SaaS Boilerplate.

So What Is Herkobi?

It’s a Laravel-based, modern SaaS starter kit that includes all the boring but necessary building blocks — user auth, team management, subscriptions, permissions, notifications, invoices, and more. Basically, the stuff you’d otherwise build over and over again.

And once I had this foundation, I could finally focus on what matters: building actual products.

Why It Matters (Especially for Niche SaaS)

Niche SaaS ideas usually need to be tested fast. You don't want to spend 3 months coding infrastructure for an idea that might flop in a week.

By handling the boring stuff upfront, you create space to focus on validation, user feedback, and iterating on the core problem you're solving.

And if the idea does catch on — you're not ashamed of your codebase. It’s clean and scalable.

Tiny Projects I Launched with Herkobi

With this boilerplate, I was able to launch multiple small products in just a week or two each. Like:

  • A file management tool for a small group of professionals
  • A stripped-down CRM focused on internal workflows
  • A lightweight appointment planner for a niche market

None of these are “big,” but they’re useful. And they work.

You don’t need to build the next unicorn. Sometimes, creating small tools that solve real problems is enough.

For me, the Herkobi boilerplate made it faster, safer, and more enjoyable to ship. If you’re into micro or niche SaaS, a solid foundation like this might be your best investment.
