Rhys Ellis Wilde

Rhys Ellis Wilde is a fresh and distinctive creative voice from the North of England. With a First-Class Honours degree in Film Production from the University of Central Lancashire, he has an eye for action, conflict and the intricacies of human nature. His work often explores what makes his unique characters tick, focusing on themes of authenticity, embracing eccentricities and making the most of life’s unpredictable twists.

A member of the Young Company at the Royal Exchange Theatre, he recently developed a short play that has just finished an extremely successful production run. His storytelling extends beyond the stage, spanning film, photography and digital media. Whether through a camera lens, a script or a well-crafted edit, he is dedicated to creating visually engaging and emotionally resonant work.

Based in Manchester, he is reluctantly writing this in the third person and cringing uncontrollably.
